If you need to take a break from LinkedIn, but don’t want to delete your account permanently, you can hibernate it. Hibernating your account will temporarily hide your profile and activity from other users. You can reactivate your account at any time by logging back in.
To hibernate your LinkedIn account:
- Go to your LinkedIn homepage and click your profile photo.
- Select Settings & Privacy.
- Under Account management, click Hibernate account.
